Services for Children

Julie’s Early Child Development Services serve infant, toddler, and pre-school children and offer curriculum tailored to the needs and abilities of each distinct age group.  All of our  child development classrooms are fully licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and provide comprehensive programming that combines nurturing and stimulating activities designed to foster the cognitive, physical, and emotional development of each child.  Our experienced staff collaborates with each mother to develop an individualized plan and establish goals for each child. Parents are considered to be an essential partner in their children’s learning process and participate in parent education workshops, onsite classroom observations, monthly parent and child activities, and frequent  individual parent-teacher meetings.

Infant & Toddler Child Development Centers

Our infant and toddler child development centers welcome children between the ages of two months and 2.9 years of age. With a low teacher to child ratio, each class offers a soothing environment, developmentally appropriate materials, and a curriculum designed to enhance  babies’ and toddlers’ growing interest in the world around them. Staff  partner with parents to build a trusting relationship, supported by clear and frequent communication and access, so that together, they can support a young child’s growth and development.

Preschool Program

The preschool curriculum includes practical life teaching, sensorial teaching, language, and math skills all of which are enhanced by an environment that is purposefully designed for the children to explore and experience hands-on learning.  A variety of activities are also incorporated into the curriculum  to strengthen the children’s cognitive abilities such as manipulative play with objects, dramatic play, water play, and sand play.  Since the age of the students in the preschool ranges from three to six years-old, peer learning and modeling are also an integral part of the classroom experience.
