Julie’s comprehensive and holistic approach to providing support to adult and children program members incorporates the following services:
Family Literacy/Life Skills Classes
- parenting skills/ parent as teacher/support groups
- family health/ home management/ relationship classes
- monthly “parent and child together” activities
- guest speakers on issues of parental concerns
- family financial literacy classes
Child Development Services
- licensed onsite early education center (ages 3 mnths – 6 yrs)
- early intervention referrals
- assistance with transition to public school enrollment
- parent-teacher meetings
- daily progress reports
Education Classes
- adult basic education (ABE) classes
- high school equivalency prep classes (HiSet, GED)
- academic tutoring
- digital literacy classes
Counseling
- career counseling
- individual on-site case management / advocacy
- referrals to a network of other resources as needed
